There are very few left, but I do love Wimpy. Especially a Bender in a Bun. It is fabulous. Staff are very polite, and the food is perfect. Cashless, but that's the future. I go here at least twice a month to get my Wimpy fix. Highly recommended.
This place is brilliant I really like this place. You can use self service to pay for your food and take your time and pick up the food you want Very clean and fresh But only for people who have car or walkers on summer days not too much for winter
Dropped in when mountain biking on a very hot Sunday. It's a WIMPY so food is what you would expect. Easy to order, quick service. A good out of town location, very clean outdoor eating area, friendly staff.
We came out of our way to visit - my first job was in a Wimpy many, many years ago in Leeds. I didn't expect anything other than nostalgia but blimey! I had the Quorn burger and it was delicious. The restaurant looked fantastic, it's all cute outdoor seating, everything looks all new, fresh & clean. I was just really impressed. The food was lovely, far better than any other current fast food places, and tbh a lot nicer than I remember it being! I ended up helping a chap with the order screen (he was of an age), I felt like I was right back working at the Wimpy in Leeds if you ever had your birthday party there in the late 1980's, I was Mr Wimpy
A great experience at Wimpy, Quarter Pounder was well cooked and the Chocolate Milkshake was spot on. This Wimpy is now cashless so be sure to have your card / phone at the ready in order to pay. There is no inside seating.
While the quality is better than McDonald's, the food is more expensive. The prices are too expensive, whimpy is not somewhere I'd eat again due to cost.
Food is freshly cooked and prices compared with other burger places . Service was spot on. Outdoor venue only. Order and sit in your car. If you're lucky young deer can be seen in the evening
Love this place. Would definitely recommend. Only a few parking spaces, but plenty a short walk away. Staff are always super friendly. Their chips are good, and special sauce one of my favourite.
